MURFREESBORO, TN – A crash that occurred Tuesday evening around 5:30 p.m. on Thompson Lane raised concern among those who drove past the incident due to the scene’s devastating appearance. A silver Toyota 4Runner veered off the roadway near StorPlace Self Storage, snapping a utility pole in half. One part of the pole was left dangling from the power lines, while the other half lay on the ground. Miraculously, the driver of the SUV was not seriously injured, according to Murfreesboro Police.
