CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Phillip O Berry Academy of Technology was evacuated Thursday due to a fire that started in a classroom, campus officials said.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Berry Academy administrators sent a message to parents confirming no one was hurt during the fire. Some students were relocated to another part of the building following the incident.
