Woman arrested after alleged DUI, wrong-way driving on Route 8 in Watertown

WATERTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — State police say a Morris woman is accused of driving the wrong way on Route 8 while under the influence of alcohol Wednesday.

Troopers were dispatched to a reported wrong-way driver in a Ford F150 on Route 8 northbound, who was traveling southbound in the area of Exit 34 (old Exit 37).

Troopers said they found the truck stopped in the median, facing the wrong way still.

The driver- 60-year-old Tracy Forese- told troopers she had consumed alcohol before driving and Standardized Field Sobriety Tests performed on scene “were not performed to standard.”…
