Electric Vehicle enthusiasts to gather in Kalamazoo for National Drive Electric Week

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Area electric vehicle drivers and enthusiasts are set to gather in Kalamazoo as part of National Drive Electric Week this Saturday.

Held at the parking lot of Midtown Fresh Market, the event will feature a variety of EVs on display for inspection, with their owners standing by to answer questions and share their experiences.

Presented by the Kalamazoo Electric Vehicle Association, or KEVA, the free event is designed to be educational for all who are interested in learning about EVs.

An all-electric school bus will be on site, along with a Consumers Energy representative to highlight their EV incentive programs. It will also have WMU’s Sunseeker, a solar powered competition car.
