WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – A ridge of high pressure remains in control of the weather across the western Great Lakes, along with the Badger State. This will keep it dry and warmer than average, ending the work week and into this weekend. A bit cool in the morning on Friday, but on the warm side for Friday afternoon. Near-record highs are possible in Wausau. You won’t need the umbrella this weekend as dry conditions are sticking around. A cold front might spark a few showers Monday night, otherwise, the next weather maker could hold off until later in the upcoming week.
