Illinois to hold public roundtables to discuss aging issues

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WIFR) – The Illinois Department of Aging announces a series of roundtable discussions to address the priorities of aging adults.

The roundtables will be open to older adults, family caretakers, service providers and the public to meet the needs of the older population. The discussions will also inform people about the development of the Illinois’ 2026-2028 State Plan on Aging.

Four roundtables are planned for Dixon, Chicago, Maywood and Aurora. Leaders hope to hold a dozen discussions at different locations across the state…
