One of the world’s largest service organizations is coming to Bettendorf Middle School.
The Bettendorf Optimist Club is chartering two Junior Optimist International Clubs — or JOI Clubs — at the school this year. They held a kickoff meeting Tuesday featuring local and state Optimists.
