A Conroe daycare is facing a lawsuit and a former worker is charged with injury to a child after a state investigation found the employee threw children onto cots and dragged them by their arms during nap time leaving them bruised, according to court documents.

Jatavia Nervis, 24, was indicted on three counts of injury to a child in March after daycare surveillance footage showed her mistreating several toddlers in more than 40 incidents, according to court documents. Those indictments was quashed after Nervis’ attorney, Kyle Ringle, claimed the indictment was too broad.
