The Aurora Police Department has recently identified three additional suspects from a widely circulated video depicting armed individuals inside an Aurora apartment complex. This video, which spurred intense public concern, captured six men entering the premises, one visibly armed with a long rifle, while others seemed to be carrying handguns. According to Denver 7, the footage was taken moments before a shooting occurred at the location, leading to the death of 25-year-old Oswaldo Jose Dabion Araujo.
The initial response by police led to the arrest of Naudi Lopez-Fernandez, 21, on felony burglary and menacing charges, while two other men, Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, 25, and Jose Serpa-Acosta, 20, were identified but remain at large. As obtained by CBS News Colorado, the authorities clarified that arrest warrants for two of the recently identified suspects are in the process of being drafted and will be submitted to the Arapahoe District Court.
