ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is warning people experiencing storm damage from Hurricane Helene to avoid being scammed by so-called “storm chasers.”
They’re likely coming from out of state, swooping into neighborhoods hit by severe weather, as local contractors are often inundated with calls and unable to respond quickly.
