Three Arrested in Connection with Atlanta Murder Investigation Linked to Cocaine Trafficking

On September 26, 2024, 32-year-old Carwon Redding was arrested by MARTA Police and charged with Felony Murder and Criminal Attempt to Sell Cocaine. His arrest is part of an ongoing investigation related to a shooting incident that occurred in April.

On June 7, 2024, 38-year-old Tyrus Pippin was taken into custody by the Fanning County Sheriff’s Office in Union County and later transported to Union County Jail to await extradition.
