COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. — The Gilmore on West River Drive looked like something out of the roaring 20s on Thursday night, as the venue hosted “Glam, Glitz, and Gastby,” this year’s theme for Homes Giving Hope’s annual gala.
Since 2020, Homes Giving Hope has been providing “safe and supportive housing for individuals with mild intellectual and developmental disabilities.”
The organization will soon open its fourth home, welcoming four new residents by the end of the year. It comes as welcome news to the nearly two dozen people on the waitlist, as well as current residents who know how much this opportunity means…
