Medina’s Interurban building moved to make way for hotel construction

MEDINA, Ohio – In an effort to make sure the city’s Interurban building won’t be damaged by construction of the Legacy Hotel project, city crews have moved it for the time being.

Service Director Nino Piccoli said city workers along with contractor HSH Construction and Excavating teamed up to relocate the building earlier this month.

Piccoli said the original plan was to use a crane to move the structure but had some concerns after looking at the building’s framework…
