Fossil Ridge High School marching band wins regional title at competition in New Mexico

Fossil Ridge High School’s marching band won another major competition last weekend, taking the overall title in a Bands for America regional championship in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Fossil Ridge topped another local school, Loveland High School, for the overall title after each won their respective divisions based on school enrollment. Fossil Ridge was the Class AAA champion, while Loveland won the Class AA title. Eastlake Texas took the Class AAAA title and finished third overall and Thatcher, Arizona, was the Class A champion in a competition that included top high school marching bands from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas.
