PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — A dog in Port St. Lucie was hit by a car and remained lodged in the vehicle’s grill for 12 hours, only to be rescued without serious injury.
The incident occurred earlier this week when a woman driving at night said the dog darted in front of her car. Unaware that the dog had become stuck in the grille, she continued driving. It wasn’t until the following day that she discovered the dog and immediately drove to St. Lucie Battery and Tire, where the dog was freed by the auto shop’s crew.
