GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – In the aftermath of Helene, our attention turns to two new storms in the Atlantic.
In the northern Atlantic, we have Hurricane Isaac. The Category 1 Hurricane has sustained winds around 85 mph as of Friday evening, and fortunately is not expected to be a threat to land. The storm will gradually track northeastward in the general direction of Iceland over the next five days, gradually weakening as it moves over cooler waters.
Farther south in the central Atlantic, Tropical Storm Joyce officially formed on Friday. Another system that will not be a threat to land, the storm is expected to do little more than maintain its strength this weekend. A turn toward…..
