Go back to school with ‘Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder’

Being a kid can be tough; just ask Junie B. Jones. Explore the childhood challenges she faces during the College of Lake County young audience theater production of “Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder” by Allison Gregory, directed by Alicia Hall.

Performances are 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27; 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28; and 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept 29. All performances are at the Mainstage Theatre in Grayslake. Tickets are $5, and buy one get one free on opening night. The show is recommended for grades K-5.

“I love directing the Junie B. Jones plays,” Hall said. “The plays are filled with a genuine warmth and joy, and they handle the very real concerns of children with understanding and humor. I’m sure we will return to the fun and imaginative world of Junie B. in future productions here at CLC.”…
