The current teacher who has been teaching at Mary Covillaud Elementary School in Marysville the longest, Dana Larsen, said that she is looking at retirement in 13 to 15 years and is excited to do it in a brand new building with all new things.
Larsen has taught at the school for 25 years. This school year, the campus has featured a brand new two-story building that houses 16 classrooms. Larsen moved into the modernized space after teaching in a portable classroom. …
