Jesuit returns to its roots, with run-heavy offense leading the Crusaders in win over Grant

Despite starting quarterback Trey Cleeland not dressing up for Friday afternoon’s game, the Jesuit football team was still able to keep the ball rolling in a lopsided 42-6 win over Grant in the Grant Bowl.

Not surprisingly, the key for the Jesuit offense came in the running game. Senior Dominic Locati had 21 carries for 140 yards and three touchdowns in the game.

Luke Ortner got the lion’s share of runs in the second half, with 15 carries for 90 yards…
