Solar co-op launches for Northern Arizona residents to go solar together

Sedona News – The nonprofit group Solar United Neighbors (SUN) recently announced the launch of the Northern Arizona Solar Co-op to help residents in Sedona, Flagstaff and Coconino County purchase solar. By joining the free co-op, homeowners and business owners in the three areas learn about solar energy and together leverage their buying power to purchase individual solar systems at a discounted group price.

“If you’ve ever thought about going solar, now’s your chance,” said Arizona Program Director Adrian Keller, Solar United Neighbors. “By joining the solar co-op you’re partnering with solar experts and your neighbors to get a good deal on a solar installation for your home.”

Joining the solar co-op is not a commitment to make a purchase. Co-op members will have the option to individually purchase panels and electric vehicle chargers based on the installer’s group rate…
