GoFundMe starts hub for fundraisers helping Hurricane Helene victims, including Georgians

A hub was launched online dedicated to verified fundraisers for Helene’s victims. Here are some of them from Georgia:

  • A 16-year-old from Atlanta is looking to get his roof fixed after two trees fell through.
  • A family of four from Augusta needs help covering expenses after their home was destroyed.
  • Another family from Savannah is trying to fund a second reconstruction of their home.
  • A single mom with three kids from Rome can’t move back into their home until she finds the funds to repair her roof.
