Bulldogs Down Cornell to Win Ivy League Opener

Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men’s soccer team kicked off its Ivy League slate on a high note, downing the Cornell Big Red 1-0 on Saturday evening at Reese Stadium. TJ Presthus converted a penalty kick in the 68th minute to give the Bulldogs three crucial points in the conference standings.

Yale has now won three consecutive matches and improves to 3-4-1 this season. Cornell dropped its first contest of the year, falling to 5-1-2.
