LEOPARDS SNEAK PAST CRUSADERS IN DEFENSIVE STRUGGLE

LOUISVILLE, OH — The Louisville Leopards secured a hard-fought 7-6 victory over the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders in a defensive battle Friday night. Both teams scored in the first quarter before a scoreless defensive stand sealed the game.

Central Catholic struck first with a 7-yard touchdown run by Conner Thomas, but the failed two-point conversion left the Crusaders with a 6-0 lead at the 3:37 mark. Louisville responded with a 52-yard touchdown run by Owen DiMarzio, and Tate Aljancic’s successful extra point gave the Leopards a 7-6 advantage late in the first quarter…
