Camels top Delaware State in 44-41 shootout

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Sincere Brown hauled in 133 yards and three touchdowns to lift Campbell over visiting Delaware State 44-41 on Saturday at Barker-Lane Stadium.

The Camels improved to 2-3, securing their first home win of the season, while Delaware State fell to 1-4 overall.

Campbell trailed 41-37 with 1:56 to go after Jaden Sutton’s 15-yard touchdown before rallying for a five-play, 79-yard march that included a 25-yard pass to VJ Wilkins and a 27-yarder to RJ Jackson along the sideline to set up Brown’s go-ahead TD, his third of the day, a two-yard strike from Chad Mascoe, Jr. with 42 seconds remaining…
