Lebanon, PA (Sept. 28, 2024) – Lebanon Valley College (6-4) scored three first half goals and never looked back as the Dutchmen downed Alvernia University (5-3-2), 6-1, on Saturday evening in non-conference men’s soccer action at Lebanon Valley.
With the loss, Alvernia drops to 5-3-2 overall. The Dutchmen improved to 6-4 and its six goal today against Alvernia marked its second straight game scoring six times.
How it Happened
- The Dutchmen took control from the jump and scored in the 9th minute to take the 1-0 lead. They then made it a 2-0 game with a goal in the 20th minute and had a 3-0 lead by halftime after a goal in the 35th minute.
- Alvernia had three shots on goal in the first half – two from Connor Kraycik and one from Nick Colleti – but the Dutchman keeper made the saves and kept Alvernia off the board to keep it a 3-0 game…
