U.S. Senate candidates rally voters across the state of Michigan, reinforce campaign goals

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Candidates running for office are spread out across the battleground state of Michigan Saturday, hoping to win the favor of voters in time for the November election.

Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Mike Rogers represented Trump Force 47 on Michigan State University’s campus, visiting the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity House. Joined by North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, Rogers said their visit is about letting young voters know he’s focused on issues that matter to them.

“Housing is huge. I hear this a lot. They know they’re going to have a difficult time finding an apartment they can afford, let alone a house they can afford,” he said. “Then you add on top of it, grocery prices are up. Gasoline is up.”…
