G.W. Long went 4-2 and reached the championship of Dothan’s Wolfpack Tournament Saturday at Dothan High in finishing as tournament’s runner-up.
In pool play, the Rebels (24-8) beat Central-Phenix City 25-14, 25-14, lost to Rehobeth 25-12, 25-12 and beat Straughn 25-19, 25-18.
They beat Dothan 25-17, 25-23 in the bracket quarterfinals and edged Rehobeth 21-25, 25-23, 15-12 in the semifinals before losing in the championship match to Central-Phenix City 25-23, 26-28, 14-16…
