With more than $2.5 million in financial assistance , Greater New Bedford communities are laying the groundwork for the future by cleaning up Buzzards Bay and preparing for the climate of the future. Projects include Buttonwood Park Zoo stormwater treatment, Sippican cranberry bog in Rochester, Westport’s Sodom Road trail, Acushnet River Estuary protection, and Buttonwood Brook walkway.
