Junior Addie Rackley hit a solo home run in the third inning, her 12th home run of the season, in Buford’s win over North Cobb. Buford, the No. 1 ranked team in Class 6A per the ScoreAtlanta/AJC Sportswriters Poll, defeated North Cobb, the No. 4 team ranked team in Class 6A 8-1 on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Buford Softball Complex.
Rackley scored Buford’s first run in the first inning with a ground out that drove in senior Izzy Rettiger. Junior Caroline Stanton followed Rackley with a line drive to centerfield, allowing junior Kadyn Gabrels to cross home plate to put the Lady Wolves up 2-0 over the Lady Warriors…
