ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – Schools across South Georgia have begun to announce possible return dates, while others are still assessing damage caused by the storm.

Below is a list of when schools plan to reopen.

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College

  • Will remain closed through Tuesday, Oct. 1

Atkinson County Schools

  • Will remain closed until further notice

Berrien County Schools

  • Will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 4

Brooks County Schools

  • Will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 4

Clinch County Schools

  • Will remain closed through Monday, Sept. 30

Cook County Schools

  • Will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 4

Echols County Schools

  • Will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 4

Lanier County Schools

  • Will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 4

Lowndes County Schools

  • Will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 4

Thomas University

  • Will remain closed through Wednesday, Oct. 2

Tift County Schools

  • Will remain closed through Tuesday, Oct. 1

University of Georgia- Tifton Campus

  • Will remain closed through Monday, Sept. 30

Valdosta City Schools

  • Will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 4

Valdosta State University

  • Remote instruction will tentatively begin Wednesday, Oct. 2, and campus will remain closed until further notice.

Wilcox County Schools

  • Will remain closed through Tuesday, Oct. 1
