COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Dominion Energy announced estimated times for power to return to its South Carolina customers in the wake of Helene.
The company described restoration and rebuilding efforts as “massive” and “labor-intensive” with about 2,000 employees working alongside 700 contractors to bring power back to South Carolina.
On Sunday, Dominion Energy released restoration times by county:
- Abbeville: Damage assessments in progress
- Aiken: Damage assessments in progress
- Allendale: Thursday, Oct. 3 at 11 p.m.
- Bamberg: Thursday, Oct. 3 at 11 p.m.
- Barnwell: Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 11 p.m.
- Beaufort: Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 11 p.m.
- Berkeley: Sunday, Sept. 29 at 11 p.m.
- Calhoun: Sunday, Sept. 29 at 11 p.m.
- Charleston: Sunday, Sept. 29 at 11 p.m.
- Colleton: Monday, Sept. 30 at 11 p.m.
- Dorchester: Sunday, Sept. 29 at 11 p.m.
- Edgefield: Damage assessments in progress
- Fairfield: Friday, Oct. 4 at 11 p.m.
