State police have not yet released the name of the suspect nor many details of a fatal shooting in Center Township Saturday night.
Police were summoned for a domestic disturbance on Lucerne Road in Lucernemines at about 10 PM. Upon their arrival, about twenty shots were fired at them from within a home. Several rounds struck a police cruiser. No people were hit and no one was hurt. When police later entered the home, they found the suspected shooter dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
