Roads closed after two-vehicle collision in San Jose leaves man dead

( KRON ) — One person is dead after a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in San Jose, the San Jose Police Department announced on X. The crash happened in the area of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bayliss Drive where a solo male driver died at the scene.

The other vehicle involved in the crash was driven by an adult male driver. There were two other people in the vehicle: a woman and a male minor.

According to SJPD, the three occupants were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Southbound and northbound of Santa Teresa Boulevard from Cheltenham Place to Bailey Avenue will be closed for a “significant amount of time,” SJPD said.
