Oneida County hasn’t officially met the $37 million threshold to receive aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency after the tornado hit in July, and local officials are waiting to hear the final word.
“We’ve received no word one way or another [from FEMA],” Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente Jr. said. “Regarding the threshold, we’ve compiled our numbers from the damages from the areas damaged by the storm.”
