RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Thousands of people of all ages started their hike to the Crazy Horse Mountain Carving as early as 8 a.m. for the 12th annual Fall Volksmarch Sunday.
The bi-annual event is sponsored by the Black Hills Volkssport Association and hosted by Crazy Horse Memorial. It takes a year and anywhere from 40 to 50 volunteers from BHVA to put together.
