YORK, Pa. — Organizers with The Veterans Memorial Project in York County will start building the new Four Chaplains Memorial at the Veterans Memorial Park on Memorial Day next year.
The memorial will tell a story about how four men gave up their lives for others during World War II. The park will feature granite fences and weathered steel panels bearing inscriptions, storylines and quotations to honor those who have served and fallen.
