Ohio State crime report shows 300% increase in car thefts over the last year

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Car thefts are increasing on the campus of the Ohio State University, a recent crime report shows.

The report for 2023 was just released Tuesday. It shows that 113 cars were stolen on campus in 2023. Twenty-six cars were stolen in the previous year. That’s a more than 300% increase in one year.
