CHESAPEAKE CITY — Approximately a dozen people spent one hour on Saturday morning bicycling, walking and even roller-skating around . . . and around . . . and around . . . a makeshift course under a cloudy sky in the parking lot of Bohemia Manor High School.
The participants easily logged many miles and, even so, they still wound up finishing where they started.
But the 60 minutes that those bicyclists, walkers and roller-skaters spent traveling around in that giant ellipse created with cones greatly increased funds that the Chesapeake City Ecumenical Association (CCEA) uses to support the organization’s food pantry for the needy and other charitable outreach endeavors in the community…
