The Buffalo Bills this week absorbed some bad news this week as they sustained a 35-10 pounded at the hands of Derrick Henry’s Baltimore Ravens on “Sunday Night Football” … and then the hits just kept on coming with the NFL’s official decision on a controversial case involving standout Von Miller.
The NFL issued a four-game suspension for Bills star Von Miller for violating the league’s Personal Conduct Policy, all apparently as a result of a domestic violence incident a year ago. … though because the NFL hasn’t tied the punishment directly to that case there are reports questioning whether there is an additional issue .
Miller, the likely future Pro Football Hall of Fame who signed a six-year, $120 million contract to move to Buffalo in 2022, will not be eligible to return until after the Bills play in Week 8.
A source close to the situation tells BillsCentral that the punishment – which in a sense amounts to the league handing down its own “guilty” verdict as allowed by the CBA, assuming it is tied to this incident – comes as no surprise to those involved…
