Three legendary Atlanta Braves broadcasters will be part of a 10-person group up for election for the Hall of Fame’s Ford C. Frick Award for broadcasting excellence.
Long-time Braves broadcaster Skip Caray was added to the ballot along with John Sterling, who was a broadcaster for the Braves during the 1980’s before moving to the New York Yankees. They join former Braves player and broadcasting icon Ernie Johnson, Sr., who is a holdover from last year’s ballot, as nominees for the award.
Voting for the award is conducted by a committee of 13 prior winners of the award and three historians. This year’s winner will be announced on December 11, 2024 at the Winter Meetings…
