AMES – Usually coy when asked about personnel and scheme, Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell isn’t hiding what the future holds for the Cyclone running backs as the program looks to reach a 5-0 record for the first time since 1980.
On Saturday when Baylor comes to Jack Trice Stadium for an evening kickoff in a white-out environment, the Cyclones will continue using three running backs, Jaylon Jackson, Abu Sama and Carson Hansen.
“All three of those guys have shown that they can do their job really well,” Campbell said early in his Tuesday news conference. “Our team hasn’t skipped a beat when any of those three guys have been in the football game. You could even talk about Dylan Lee and some of the other guys who have been in the game and been successful as well.”…
