PEORIA (25News Now) – Central Illinois organizations and companies are sending helping hands to aid people impacted by Hurricane Helene’s devastation.
Helene made landfall in Florida on Sept. 26, leaving a path of destruction hundreds of miles up the southeastern coast of the U.S.
The American Red Cross of Illinois’ Peoria office sent two volunteers on the road to Charleston, South Carolina in a disaster relief van Tuesday morning. They will be driving the city streets for at least two weeks, handing out food and water…
