Two teens charged with West Allis carjacking attempt and gunfire

WEST ALLIS, Wis. — Prosecutors have filed charges against two teenagers accused of an armed carjacking in Milwaukee that led to an attempted carjacking and shooting in West Allis Friday.

Seventeen-year-old Gregory Edwards-Hemphill and 18-year-old Brandin Ballard face counts of armed carjacking and first-degree recklessly endangering safety. Ballard has also been charged with bail jumping and possession of a firearm by an adjudicated delinquent.
