Oct. 1—Vizient, Inc., has recognized Odessa Regional Medical Center as a top performer in the 2024 Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, annual Quality Leadership Study. Ranked eighth in the complex care medical center cohort, Odessa Regional Medical Center was recognized for demonstrating excellence in delivering high-quality care.

The 2024 Vizient Quality and Accountability Study included 860 participating hospitals segmented into four cohorts. The study assesses hospitals’ performance across six domains of patient care: safety, mortality, effectiveness, efficiency, patient-centeredness, and equity of care.
