DENVER ( KDVR ) — More hot, dry and sunny conditions are moving into Denver’s weather . A few days are even on track to set new records.

Weather tonight: Clear night

Clear conditions continue Tuesday night. Low temperatures will dip to the upper 40s, which is about 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Record heat

Sunny and warm weather returns on Wednesday. High temperatures are on track to hit 90 degrees, which would beat the previous record of 88 degrees set in 2005.

If Denver hits 90 degrees, it would be the latest day for that high temperature on record.

The current record for the latest 90-degree or hotter temperature recorded in Denver is October 1, set in 1892.

Looking ahead: Cooler Thursday, record heat Saturday

After record heat, a cold front will move through Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The front will come through dry, keeping sunshine in the forecast, but lowering dropping Thursday’s high temperature to the upper 70s.

Sunny and warmer weather moves in on Friday and Saturday. Friday will climb to a high in the mid-80s, which is just below the daily record of 87 degrees set in 1997. Saturday is on track to set another record high at 88 degrees, which passes the previous record of 86 set in 1997.

Another weak cold front will move through at the end of the weekend, which will set up Sunday for very comfortable conditions for the Broncos game with sunshine and a high of around 80 degrees…
