Multiple Annapolis Neighborhoods Targeted in Major Drug and Gun Trafficking Raid

Several Annapolis neighborhoods were the focus of a large-scale law enforcement operation early Wednesday morning as part of a lengthy investigation into drug and gun trafficking. The raid, involving multiple agencies, was also conducted in Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City, according to the FBI Baltimore Field Office.

The coordinated operation began in the pre-dawn hours, with approximately 20 SWAT teams deployed across the area. The City Council waas advised that residents might witness convoys of law enforcement and hear “flash bangs” throughout the morning.

The FBI Baltimore Field Office confirmed that 18 “court-authorized searches” were conducted across the three areas, resulting in the arrest of 14 individuals. They declined to priviude any additional information…
