CLIO, Mich. (WJRT) – Winter will be less harsh for Carl Cooper of Clio thanks to a prize he claimed from the Lucky for Life multistate lottery.
Cooper matched all five white balls in the Sept. 23 drawing — 01-21-24-27-48 — with a ticket purchased at Ernie’s Beer & Wine at 13167 N. Saginaw Road.
The 67-year-old has been playing the same numbers in the Lucky for Life game for a few years. Cooper checked his ticket on the morning after the drawing and quickly noticed he matched the first three numbers…
