Man charged with striking Metro bus, other crimes during police pursuit in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A man is facing several felony charges after police said he struck a Metro bus, injuring a passenger, and a struck building while fleeing a traffic stop Monday in St. Louis.

St. Louis prosecutors on Tuesday charged 26-year-old Darrick J. Johnson with aggravated fleeing of a traffic stop causing injury, leaving the scene of a crash involving injury, first-degree burglary, first-degree property damage and felony resisting arrest.

Johnson is confined in the St. Louis Justice Center without the possibility of bond. An initial appearance was set for Wednesday afternoon, the results of which were not available at publication time…
