Driver arrested for traveling 68 miles per hour over speed limit in Colorado

It’s no secret at speeding is a relatively common problem on Colorado’s roads – and a recent incident put that issue on full display.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, a driver was arrested for traveling 113 miles per hour on a road with a 45 MPH speed limit – 68 miles per hour over what’s legal.

The incident took place in the area of S. Chambers Road and Cosmopolitan Circle in Stonegate, with the driver taken into custody on a reckless driving charge as a result. At the time he was pulled over, his plate was also long-expired with its registration running out in November of 2021…
