CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A Lebanese restaurant owner is desperate to get his wife and two kids to safety.
He moved to Cincinnati to pursue his cooking dreams and provide for his family overseas, but the Israeli bombings have forced him to make tough decisions.
Ahmad Jheir owns a Mediterranean restaurant in St. Bernard. He doesn’t get a lot of foot traffic, but he was able to scrape together some money and take out a credit card loan to buy three plane tickets to the United States. They’ve been forced to flee and start fresh in Cincinnati.
Jheir’s family had a terrifying journey out of South Lebanon. He said his kids are traumatized from seeing the destruction from the exploding pagers…
